The CO provides a soft copy of the ARAL Summer Programs through the link provided. The RO/DO is responsible for decisions involving reproduction and distribution of materials.
While we strive for teachers and learners to have all materials ready, we recognize that each school faces unique challenges and contexts. Consequently, what is manageable within those specific circumstances is deemed acceptable.

Yes. The ARAL-Reading curriculum is still the same. You can use old resources as long as they match the lesson goals. You can also change the activities to fit different topics. Item 48 of DO 10, s. 2026 lists other DepEd materials you can use.
ARAL Summer classes shall be conducted from Monday to Friday, with Fridays designated for home-based learning for learners and for teachers’ preparation of instructional materials and documentation of learner progress. (Item 29, DO 10 s.2026)

Yes, but it is not recommended. Changing the schedule can affect learners, especially those with several classes a day. Schools must create a class program for the SRP and get approval from their Division Office for any changes.
Yes. Teachers must ensure that learners are grouped based on their levels/current abilities and deliver differentiated instruction to consider the unique dynamics of a multi-grade/mixed-age group class.

Each teacher can handle a maximum of 10 learners. A smaller class size allows for more focused instruction. If there are enough teachers, a ratio as low as 1:2 or 1:1 is also permitted.
ARAL Summer: For the ARAL Learners Assessment, the EOSY Assessment (Phil-IRI, CRLA, RMA) will serve as the baseline. Progress will be monitored using the IRIP and IMIP of the learners. For the endline assessment, the same EOSY tools will be administered.
ARAL Summer: For ARAL, the baseline and endline assessments will be standardized using the EOSY (SY 2025–2026) assessment tools.
ARAL Summer: For ARAL, the pre-test and post-test will utilize the EOSY (SY 2025–2026) assessment tools.
ARAL Summer: For ARAL, there should be a weekly check-in based on the learners' IMIP and IRIP. This will help tutors and teachers provide additional intervention to their ARAL learners.
ARAL Summer: Yes, the SRP will release internal guidelines regarding the specific M&E tools. However, teachers and tutors may use school/SDO-developed tools for attendance and progress checking.
ARAL Summer: The School Head shall submit consolidated Pre- and Post-Implementation Monitoring Forms. Specific instructions will be sent in a separate memo.
ARAL Summer: We use the LIS ARAL tagging system to track learner progress. However, for ARAL Summer, progress will not be recorded in the LIS or any formal school forms.
ARAL Summer: We follow the protocol established by DO 18, s. 2025, which may involve referring the learner to the School Head for further and additional assessments.
ARAL Summer: Teachers and tutors may use their existing CRLA and Phil-IRI assessment tools for the endline assessment. For progress checks, they may use the online IMIP and IRIP; however, they also have the option to print these forms if preferred. These tools may be accessed in the same link with the ARAL Summer Resources.
ARAL Summer: Yes, schools are encouraged to use their most effective M&E tools for attendance and progress checks. However, online forms will also be distributed for School Heads to complete during the SRP period; these will cover Pre- and Post-Implementation Reports, including ARAL Summer data and reporting.
